My clinical assistants are deep tissue therapists and personal trainers who are sincerely interested in helping you enjoy greater health and well-being. In this era of increasing managed care and decreasing personalized care, I assure you that my assistants will do their best to take great care of you.
Phil graduated from Dartmouth College, where he majored in History, with a focus on religion and art. In his early 20’s, he became very interested in the practice of yoga, which led to an exploration of bodywork. He started his healthcare studies by focusing on Polarity Therapy at the Wellness Institute, in Taos, New Mexico. Phil then obtained his certification in massage therapy at Dr. Jay Scherer’s Academy of Natural Healing, in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1995.
Over the years, Phil has included other areas of expertise into his work with patients, including Craniosacral Therapy, Orthobionomy, Reiki and deep tissue Orthopedic Massage.
Phil grew up on a farm in Maryland, so when he’s not working, he’s often in the outdoors hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, and body-surfing. He is still nourished by his yoga practice and loves listening and dancing to music.
Kenol completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Oakwood University in Alabama and then continued his studies at San Francisco State University. Afterwards, he graduated from the National Holistic Institute with his certification in massage therapy. His focus with patients is not only removing their physical pain but also helping them experience more mental happiness.
When Kenol is not working, he enjoys life by hiking, playing basketball, and learning how to play guitar.
