It's Finally Time For Me to Write This Book
Schillinger Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Dear Patients & Friends,
As many of you know, I'm passionate about my work in helping families have morecaring and cooperative relationships.
In the 1990s, when I began to put together my human development self-help method called, The Right Way for Personal Growth, I envisioned myself working with people privately or in workshops, so that I could mentor them to move closer towards achieving their true potential.

Thankfully, I have fulfilled that goal, as I spend a good portion of my Tuesdays and Thursdays at the office showing people how to have effective positive beliefs and more productive behaviors by providing stress management therapy and life coaching.
However, I didn't know then that I'd be spending equally as much time coaching parents and their children, guiding them to move their personal lives and their family in the right direction.
It's Time to Write a Book
In the year 2000, I cofounded the nonprofit, Young Men's Ultimate Weekend, a nonreligious wilderness rite of passage adventure camp, for young men ages 13 - 20. I helped create this event so that I could improve my relationship with my son, Gabe, who was 16 at that time.
Now, 17 years later, approximately 3500 young men have graduated from this program, many of them who also now enjoy better relationships with their parents, and are better prepared for their challenges in the adult world.
I've learned so much from my experiences with YMUW and from coaching families that it's time to (finally) write a book! I've been getting excellent advice from many close friends who are professional best-selling authors. It's time to put their wisdom into the action steps necessary to get the book done.
Although it's too early to know exactly what the book will be called, here are three "working" titles:- Using Tribal Wisdom to Navigate the Challenges of Parenting Your Son
- Raising Responsible & Resilient Young Men in The Era of Digital Dominance
- Why It's Harder Than Ever To Raise Your Teenage Son In The Digital Age
How Dr. Rosenstein Will Help Me
In order to write this book, I need more time. Sound familiar?!
If I was the creator of the universe, I would've created an Earth that had 48 hours to each day, required no sleep and instantly manifested whatever could be conceived, as long as it was good for the world.
Since I don't live in that universe yet (I am a hopeless idealist), I'll need to find more time during the day for book writing. Therefore, my good personal friend, Dr. Matt Rosenstein, DC will be treating patients a few days a month.
Matt is also deeply involved with my family work (as advisor and editor), so when he's here seeing patients, I'll also be here, but primarily working on the book in my office. This way I can see patients if necessary and also call upon Matt with my book writing questions.
It all works to move me forward in the next steps in reaching a wider audience with my message of positivity and change.
True,
Dr. Mark
