Workshop for Divorced Parents, or Couples Who Need Help

Dear Patients & Friends,
There's no shortage of scientific research that shows that children who grow up in a divided, divorced family, experience significant amounts of stress. This is also true for children who live with married parents in a home that is filled with anxiety.
As pointed out in this article, published in Science Daily, children experience distress from unhealthy families in a wide variety of physical and mental symptoms.
How to Be a Better Parent - Divorced or Not
On Thursday, December 7, Suzanne Alfandari (LMFT) and I - along with Rochelle Newman (relationship coach) - will be showing parents, whether divorced or not, how to build resilient families.
Even when there are adult disagreements about how to get along with each other, or how to best raise the children, it is completely possible to work together in order to create a family where each member wants to cooperate with each other.
The following topics will be addressed:
- Releasing obstacles that block family unity
- Teaching your children how to benefit from divorce
- Communicating without anger
- Using simple methods that promote collaboration
- Learning easy relaxation techniques
- Developing mutual respect & trust

This workshop is extremely rewarding for Rochelle, Suzanne and I to be putting on. The three of us experience great joy with each other and with our families, so our motivation for doing this workshop is to help other people have the same great family connections that we have
Please share the event page link with anyone you know who could benefit from this workshop.
